Will IPL Damage Basal Skin Cells?

I am wondering if there is a possiblity of damaging basal skin cell when IPL treatment.

IPL as a treatment for Skin Cancer?

IPL or Intense Pulse Light Laser should not be used as a treatment for suspected skin cancers. While IPL is an excellent method to treat skin discolorations, brown spots, and age spots, IPL can not and should not be used to treat skin cancers.
