Invisalign: Q&A

Ask a Question

Are There 'Practice' Invisalign Retainers?

Do dentists give a 'practice' retainer while patients are waiting for the real Invisalign trays to be made?

No 'practice' Invisalign retainers

There is no need of "practice retainers" for you to get used to. The material used by Invisalign is very different than the retainers made in the office. You should have no problems with getting used to the Invisalign trays within a couple of days. In fact, we have patients who have accidentally had started their meal with it!
