Needle sticks and a rhinoplasty
The total number of injections needed to obtain the desired effect for a rhinoplasty varies and really is both an irrelevant and inconsequential issue. Assuming that you will be having some type of anesthesia, general or sedation, your discernment or awareness of the individual needle sticks should be blocked.

Rhinoplasty work
Anywhere from 6 to 12 injections should get full local anesthesia for a rhinoplasty. In jections are also done at the osteotomy site right before that part of the proceedure.

Injections before rhinoplasty
Injections of local anesthetic are placed around the nose for hemostatic reasons (to avoid alot of bleeding). There are no specific number that are used, and under anesthetic you sh ould not feel it at all.

There is no set rule here. The answer is usually what works for you. Most surgeons tend to have their own routine. which helps them avoid bleeding and bruising.

Those videos are usually meant for other surgeons as a teaching tool. The number of injections is not important, what is important is researching and trusting your surgeon. Don't get too wrapped up in the details of the procedure - after all, you will likely be asleep for that portion of the procedure! Good luck!

Number of injections during rhinoplasty
Picking your surgeon based on the number of injections he or she uses is not a good way to choose. Focus on certification and results, rather than the number of injections.

Number of Injections before a Rhinoplasty
Depending on how much is being done, 3 to 5 injections sites for a rhinoplasty is common. However, if a surgeon needs more, then it is OK to do so.
