Infected Seroma

If you infact have an infected seroma it needs to be drained as soon as possible. If this does not occur it can turm into an abscess.

Breast Infection After Breast Augmentation

Dear Lowry86, I am sorry that you had to endure complications after your surgery. It seems that you have developed a serious infection and the nurse's instructions may not be adequate and antibiotic treatments alone may not be the solution. I encourage you to have your PS examine you to come up with a treatment plan that best fits your current situation. Thank you for your inquiry and best of wishes to you. Dr. Sajjadian

Fever, swelling after breast enlargement

All of the symptoms and signs you describe indicate a possible serious infection of the tissues surrounding your breast implant. I would recommend immediate close follow up and examination with your plastic surgeon, not only the nurse.

Infected Seroma Around Breast Implant?

I'm sorry to hear about the complication you are experiencing. Immediate evaluation by your plastic surgeon is indicated. Unfortunately, if the fluid accumulation is infected then a drainage procedure may be indicated. Also, if this is the case, removal of the breast implants for a period of time will also likely be indicated. Immediate follow-up with your plastic surgeon ( not nurse) is your next step. Best wishes.

Fever swelling and pain after augmentation

Hi, what you describe might well be an infection of the left breast wound and implant, please contact your plastic surgeon and ask to be assessed by him not only by the nurse. if you have an infected seroma the treatment with antibiotics alone is not adequate.

Breast infection post augmentation

Thank you for the question, I think you need to contact your plastic surgeon to address this problem. This is a serious complication if you have infection and this online forum is not the right place to answer your problem.
