Incisions Look Red and Are Puckering and Swollen?

I had a rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago (in which the sides of my nose were stitched) the sides are puckering and red very noticeable. On fact on one side there is a large ridge underneath the curve of my nose. Is this normal and if so how long until it goes down?

Red incisions after alar reduction

There may be a bit of red or pink coloration to the incision line in the crease after alar reduction. From experience we know that this scar heals well and is quite difficult to see even if you would think otherwise. Keep the area clean and let your surgeon have a look.
