These must be combined with curved incisions inside the temples about 3 inches in length on either side. The incisions in an endoscopic brow lift are made behind the hairline. The central and para central incisions are slightly shorter than an inch. The incisions over each temple are slightly longer than an inch. These incisions tend to heal very well with minimal or no hair loss.

Size of incisions for an Endoscopic Browlift.

The incisions for an endoscopic browlift should be small. I usually make them about an inch in length behind the hairline. They are well hidden and heal incredibly well. This is one of the advantages of an endoscopic approch to browlifting. Coronal browlifting made an incision that extennded across the top of the scalp from ear to ear. Downtime, recovery, and comparable results are all better with endiscopic brow lifting.
