In Revision Rhinoplasty, Can You Have an Entire Cartilage Graft Removed with No Residue Left?

If so, how can you tell if there's no residue, especially when using the closed approach?

Close technique for revision rhinoplasty and graft removal

Revision rhinoplasty can be performed with closer open techniques and gives excellent results in experienced hands from either method. Most patients prefer closed techniques which are less invasive.  Cartilage grafts  that were placed previously can be removed if needed.  Please refer to the link below for our closed rhinoplasty photo gallery

The closed in closed rhinoplasty does not imply that you cannot see.   Visualization in the closed rhinoplasty is an art and removing cartilage grafts is not particularly difficult in most cases.  Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of closed rhinoplasties and rhinoplasty revisions each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.  Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
