Chin Implant: Q&A

Improving Facial Balance with Chin Implant and Spacing of Front Teeth with Veneers? (photo)

i have a moderate openbite of my front teeth which causes pressure on my lips & makes my lips "protrude" out more than i'd like. i'm considering a chin implant to improve facial balance & "Veneers". i'm wondering if added thickness of Veneers to my front teeth will make the uncomfortable pressure/strain on my lips worse? Or can my teeth be shaved down significantly prior to adding the thickness of Veneers to avoid this problem. Or can Veneers just be put on the back side of the teeth? Thanks!
