I had cortison injections to eliminate the black circles under my eyes and sun marks on my face about five weeks ago but had no improvement.
Is this condition going to improve? Is there some thing that I can do to help my situation? The doctor prescribed Hidrokinone cream.

Dark circles under eyes can sometimes be improved with Photofacial/IPL
I would avoid any further steroid injections as they can cause atrophy or loss of tissue beneath the skin and make the hollowness look worse.
I do an arcus marginalis release and fat grafting to correct depressions or hollows beneath the eyes that cause a dark circle.
If the skin color is dark multiple treatments with IPL (Intense Pulsed Light-also called Photofacial) can sometimes lighten the color of the lower eyelid skin.

Dark Circles Under the Eyes
Hi Emily,
Black cirlcles under the eyes are a very difficult problem to correct. If you have hollowness under your eyes, Restylane injections can fill the area and decrease some of the shadowing. This is a most delicate procedure and you should only have an expert inject in this area.
The actual darkness of the skin and underlying tissues is usually genetically predisposed. Many companies make "dark circle creams" but I have yet to hear of one that is effective.
