I was a self-harmer; I had inconspicous marks on my knees that I wanted to make them look like a line. Instead I wound up with hypertrophic scars. I had scar restoration three times. Each time we used kenalog, steroids, and I still wound up hypertrophic scars. I would like to know if there is a way to improve the appearances of thiese scars. I have used scarguard and I have seen much improvement. However, I would like to improve the apppearances of the scars.
