Fibrocystic disease and implants
Many women have fibrocystic disease. As long as there are no suspicious lesions and you breast surgeon okays it, I see no problem.

Are Implants Safe for Patient with Fibrocystic Breasts?
In general, I would discuss this with your general surgeon. Implants can partially interfere with the ability to visualize the breast tissue. IF it is suspected that you will require future biopsies for suspicious lesions, you may wnat to take this into consideration.

Implants with fibrocystic disease
Yes, with this proviso. In my practice all patients ,of any age, having an augmentation should have a base line mammogram. If the mammogram is benign and the is no history of breast cancer in the female cohortThen it has been safe.
If there is atypia in previous biopsies or Bracca gene history then I advise against it.

Implants may be safe for patient with Fibrocystic breasts
Hello,
This is a matter of opinion and in mine depends upon how bad your problem is. Some patients have a low degree of fibrocystic change and others have quite a bit more. This is something to address with your surgeon at consultation.
