Hi, I am looking for some advice. I am currently a large A/small B cup and I'm looking to go to a medium C cup. I am 5'8' and 175 lbs. my ribcage is 35" and my BWD is about 14.1. Any recommendations about Breast implants sizes in cc as well as the profile? Thanks for your help!
It sounds as if you can use a 350 - 400 cc. But for your best results come in and durring the examination you can put some implants in your bra and try them out. There is no standard "c" as all bras are different - but try an implant in your bra and see how you look and see if that is what you want.
In most cases, a silicone moderate profile implant works well to give a nice amount of volume without being to wide, but still giving nice projection without looking fake. However, every persons body is different and it is best to discuss the different implants with your surgeon.
It's hard to give an accurate answer without examining you, but I suspect that you will need about 300 cc with a moderate profile implant to achieve your goal. Keep in mind that your concept of a medium C may be different from that of your surgeon. In addition, different bra manufacturers have different ways of measuring cup sizes, which makes it more confusing for you as the consumer. It may be helpful to take a picture of a woman with a similar body type to your consultation. I also find that it is helpful to get a general idea of a patient's goals by allowing her to try on implants underneath a tight t-shirt in the office. Good luck, /nsn.
This is a subject that I go over in careful detail with each and every patient when they come in for a consultation. A tall patient can "handle" a much larger implant than a shorter patient. Volumes would be reviewed with patients in the office after a thorough exam. I never guarantee cup size, but I review the volume I think would be most appropriate and then I have my patients "try it on at home."
