Augmentation 8 wks ago with 350cc filled to 400cc. I am only 5'2'',110lb,29inch ribcage, was 34B pre-op. was hoping to for full C, but now fitting DD and some D cups. shocked at the size immediately post-op but told extensively this is due to "swelling". This has me mortified at the "top-heavy" look i now have. Also implants are spaced out too far laterally giving me a very WIDE chest. Is this a reasonable size implant for what I wanted? Will I go down to C cup in few months?

Breast Implants Too Large

Breast implants may remain swollen for up to 6-9 months after surgery and cause edema over the sternum blunting your cleavage and creating a webbed appearance. Generally this will resolve. Exercises or manual lymphatic drainage may help expedite the process/

Implant size

Your breasts are more than likely very swollen after surgery and they will come down a bit. However, a 400 cc implant may keep you in a "D" cup.

Settling can still occur up to a year after surgery. At this point, you can be looking at your final result. Regards to the size of the implants, 400cc to your body frame sounds big considering the "full C" bra size you wanted but it really depends.

At 2 months after Breast Augmentation, you are seeing the final result

At 2 months after your breast Augmentation there is little chance there would be a sudden reprieve and your 400cc / D/DD breasts would deflate to a C cup. The breasts would "soften" as the breast skin is stretched but I am afraid you are looking at a good approximation of the final appearance. As regards "Is this a reasonable size implant for what I wanted?", for a petite "5'2'',110lb,29inch ribcage" who is "mortified at the... more
