I had submuscular in for 6 months, but they were too big and uncomfortable. I had explant w/o replacements over a year ago.I am considering new smaller implants and my PS suggested over the muscle this time?What should I do..over or under or leave explanted?

The fact that you are asking strangers about whether we think you need implants without meeting you and getting to know your personal goals would make me advise you to leave them explanted until a day when you know that you want them for sure. At that time, it is appropriate to discuss size and position.

Submuscular breast augmentation has advantages
The decision about how to place breast implants, over or under the chest muscle is frequently discussed on this site. It is clear that submuscular breast augmentation has advantages, especially after long periods of time where the breast can thin, and the upper portion of the implant can become more visible. You need in person evaluations. The answer depends upon you, your body typr, etc. I rarely use above muscle implantation.

Implant choices
Over or under breast implants depends upon a lot of things. If you are very thin, I probably would go under. But this is something reviewed on exam and in person.
