Ice Pick Scar Treatments?

Hello I have few small (less than a millimeter in diameter) ice pick scars on my face. They don't seem that deep, and I don't know if they could just be enlarged pores resulting from acne. What would be the best way to go about treating these acne scars/pores?

Laser Treatment for Acne Scars

Thank you for your question. It would be best to get a personal consultation and evaluation. Using the eMatrix by Syneron laser if the skin is very dark and high risk or the fractional CO2 laser if the skin is not too dark would be the best options. For best and safest results, be sure to consult with a Board Certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon who has expertise in acne, scarring, and various skin types. I hope this helps.

Hello

In our office we have 2 lasers done together that would give you great results Profractional laser and micro laser peel. If after that treatment you were looking for more we would recommend a mini face lift to stretch out your skin from the scar that are deep. You should see a PS to help you give you permanent options for you situation. Good luck.

Laser Resurfacing for Acne Scars

Hi Lia. Without the benefit of a picture, it's difficult to say what we would recommend, but generally speaking laser resurfacing is used most often for acne scars. We use Erbium laser resurfacing for most textured acne scar cases and you can see our before and after pictures on this website as well as the link below. We are also in Los Angeles if you would like to set up a free consultation. Good luck.
