Issues after Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty

It's not a good idea, in general, for Rhinoplasty, Septoplasty patients to do anything that increases blood flow to the face and nose.  Forcefully breathing into your nose this soon after a Septoplasty can certainly do no good and may harm the nasal tissues, increase bleeding and swelling IMHO.  Check with your surgeon for specific post op Rhinoplasty instructions, but I would advise my Rhinoplasty patients against doing that after a Rhinoplasty.
