I Had Rhinoplasty 5 Years Ago, Could my Nose Swell Up Again?

i had rhinoplasty 5 years ago and because i have thick skin on my nose, i still have a swelling. i wondered if i go to have future operations that dont involve my nose (like eye surgery etc) , could it swell up again? im just paranoid as the swelling took so many years to go down.

I Had Rhinoplasty 5 Years Ago, Could my Nose Swell Up Again?

I have performed Rhinoplasty and Revision Rhinoplasty for 25 years and the nose is fully healed and stable after 12-18 months tops. Any changes after that point(other than dissolving or moving grafting materials) are not related to post Rhinoplasty swelling.

Swelling of Nose 5 Years after Rhinoplasty

Surgery on structures adjacent to your nose, such as your eyes will have no effect on your nose. If there is any swelling of the nose it will be minimal and resolve quickly after the operation.
