I Lost my Retainer. Should I See About Getting a New One?

I got my braces off four years ago. I used my retainer all the time, but I lost it about a week ago and my teeth are already starting to shift a little. Will they keep moving, or will they only move for a little bit? Is there anything I can do to make a makeshift retainer until I can afford to buy new retainers?

Should I Replace a Lost Retainer?

I tell my patients that need retainers that they only need to wear it as long as they want straight teeth. Yes, replace the retainer.
