Acne Treatment: Q&A
Ask a QuestionI Have Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, Not PCOS, Could my Acne Be from That? How Can I Make It Go Away?
My acne is killing me I need it to go away really soon. Story of my life 4 months prior to starting amenorrhea and acne. I ate 4-5 bowls of cereal in the morning (skim milk) Salad, tuna, etc, crackers, fruits, granola, etc. for lunch. Then eat what was for family dinner, and then have a fat free pudding or jello with some fibre 1 cereal for snack. Bike 1 hr. Drink 3 coffees/coke zero, go to bathroom 2-3 times a day. Never really solid stools. Please doctors figure out what's going on with my body!

I'm not sure how old this question is, but I just stumbled upon it. I am not a doctor, but have much experience with nutrition and natural healing through food. Are you saying you are eating 4-5 bowls of cereal every morning? Even if it's just one, looking at your diet, the first things you could try to change to decrease or eliminate your skin and bowel trouble is your gluten and dairy intake. Seems you have a good amount of both in your diet and may not even know where much of it is lurking. Try going gluten free for 3 weeks and reducing your dairy as much as possible. I would bet you will see and feel pretty instant improvements across the board.
