When to Apply Hydroquinone Cream After Active FX?

I just received the Active FX treatment. Do I start the hydroquinone cream right away or should I wait 5 days for my skin to heal first? Thank you.

Pre-op & post-op skin care critical to avoid post-inflammatory pigmentation after laser resurfacing

If you have darker skin type (type III- type V), an experienced board-certified dermatologist may choose to customize a pre-op and post-op skin care routine involving combination of topical retinoid and hydroquinone to minimize post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Timing of hydroquinone application should be deferred to your physician. Preferably, topical hydroquinone should be applied as soon as the skin is healed, e.g. 5-6 days after laser resurfacing.
