I recently had an IPL Photofacial. I've notice in the past 2 weeks, there are areas on my face that are not growing back. I discussed this with the esthetician BEFORE the treatment and she said I have nothing to worry about. I want to know if these areas will gradually grow back and if there is anything I can do to help it grow back faster. I'm a man and want to keep my facial hair.

surgeon to determine the best methods to treat what you are describing.

Retinol creams may make you sensitive to the IPL. I would either switch to non-light treatments such as Melarase creams for dark spots and age spots, or use a moisturizer containing ceramides such as Elevase Moisture Booster to avoid dryness. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
