Tendency to form keloids is a contraindication to the use of ablative fractional resurfacing lasers of which Fraxel Re:pair is one. Please do not use this technology on your face. For the damage that has already been done, I'd suggest you see a physician who's familiar with keloid care. The treatment of keloids is very difficult indeed but there are options which include steroid injections, excision (cutting them out), pulsed dye lasers and silicone dressings. The success rate is pretty low. What I find potentially successful is to use a combination of these different modalities.

Use Aldara cream!!!!!!!!!! And TNS recovery serum.. Spot test and use twice a week Many have had this complication and the Aldara works great to help and prevent future scarring.... U should also consider using an antifungal and taking something for Candida Ask your doc about getting a prescription for Ertaczo cream..It can't hurt!! Apple cider vinager capsules are a natural approach and can't hurt especially if your prone to Candida... This is often a overlooked complication and you can get a fungal infection simply using a clean family towel...These are not removed in the wash unless you always wash on sanitary mode ect...Many wash in cold water now days... Consider drying your face with papertowels..Sanitize your linens... Castor oil is amazing for softening and removing the plugged pores, millia or keloids... Google castor oil keloids... It's gentle and IT Works....You can use mild heat over it to increase the effect..If it's your chest a heating pad on low.. Also the vinegar water soaks help!! Paper towel soaked in vinegar water... Good luck let us know how you progress.. Some papers where released at the most recent ASLMS on similiar cases..Ask your doctor to pull them up....If you email me I can send you a copy.... The TNS recovery serum is amazing for healing and If you do the restore again I would do the vinegar water soaks,,rinse and follow with TNS for proper healing... See Christines post and how she healed using wet wraps and them the aldara!! http://www.realself.com/review/fraxel-laser-horrible?p=s#comments
