How many Botox units for 11's or frown lines?

I received 20 units of Botox yesterday. Now I think I may have been cheated, he just wanted to get his $256 and the 20 units he injected were not nearly enough to get "rid" of the moderate/severe "11's" on my forehead. What is the average amount of units needed for this?

I agree with the above responses. However, I just wanted to let you know that I typically use 25 units for that area, but sometimes as low as 15 or as high as 40. So don't feel cheated. I tell my patients to wait at least a week to two weeks before considering a "touch up".

The average units injected into the Glabella, frown lines or "11s" is about 20 units. There are some clients that may require more due to larger amount of muscle present. i have injected as much as 40 units. The effects of Botox are not noted overnight or even over a two day period. You need at least 3-4 days and in some cases up to seven days for the muscle fibers become paralyzed which results in disappearance of the lines. Just give it a little more time. if still there after a week, just ask for touch.
