How Long Does Redness from Fraxel Restore Last?

I had Fraxel Restore done around 5 weeks ago, and I'm still very red. How long does the redness post-op usually last?

Not Too Long

Hi Stella, Redness after Fraxel re:store laser usually dissipates within one to two weeks. Redness at five weeks is unusual. You should see your treating physician for reassurance that all is well. You may be experiencing an inflammatory reaction either to the treatment or to skin care products. Good luck and be well. Dr. P
