Longevity of Lifestyle Lift
The Lifestyle Lift is not really a specific technique so much as a brand applied to doing a limited menu of Facelift procedures with local anesthesia.
The actual technique used is the individual surgeon's discretion, so the quality and longevity vary.

Durations of Scars or Duration of Results?
The majority of patients I have seen who have had Lifestyle Lift have no appreciable aesthetic result, and have noticeable scarring. As other posters have noted, mini procedures generally yield mini results.
The second issue is safety. Make sure you are having your procedure performed in an accredited facility where should you receive sedation of any kind (LSL patients frequently take oral sedatives), you are monitored, and monitored by an Anesthesiologist or CRNA. You might want to look...

Lifestyle Lift - Does this facelift hold up over time?
The Lifestyle Lift is NOT a specfic type of Facelift. It is rather a very nice marketing pckage that creates interest in rejuventation of the lower facial, neck, jawline, and jowl region.
Typically one call the 800 number and speaks with a consultant who refers you to the Lifestyle doc in your region (this is a doctor who pays for the Lifestyle Lift branding and marketing only.) There is not any other qualification to become the Lifestyle Center in a given region.

Duration of mini facelifts
The LS lift is a heavily marketed mini lift usually done by non-plastic surgeons. The results can last as little as one week in some patient reviews. The average minilifts don't last much time though. A real facelift is much better.

Lifestyle lift is a brand name for a limited scar lift that may or may not uncorporate a imbrication or plication of the deeper soft tissues of the face. It is usually not done by plastic surgeons and many of the people performing this procedure have taken a weekend course to train. They do not last that long. You are better off going to a board certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon to have a facelift.

The longevity of mini face lifts is stated to be in the range of 2-4 years.
However, results can range anywhere from 6 months up to 10 years depending on the techniques used, the surgeon's skill and the patient's tissues.
The problem with the lifestyle lift is that different surgeons perform them in different cities and often even in the same center. Skills vary and so do the results.

Having performed Lifestyle Lifts for nearly two years in Northern Ohio, I became very familiar with the technque. Satisfying resullts in all aesthetiic surgery usually comes down to the procedures selected (whether it is right for you), and the skill of the surgeon who performs it.

Lifestyle Lift results depend on surgeon's skill
These lifts are mini lifts, and the patients that I have seen who have had this procedure are unhappy with the results.They give only mini results since they don't involve the same extent as a regular facelift. See a good surgeon in your area who has a great deal of experience and will properly advice you to the pros and cons of both. You get what you pay for.

The duration of all face lift results, lifestyle lift or otherwise depend on the quality of your skin and the expertise of the surgeon and the quality of the lifting procedure that you have had. In the lifestyle lift it is the quality of the lift, not the lifestyle, which will determine the longevity of your result.
