Pay attention – the most common allergens are fragrance and purple pigments. However, anyone can be allergic to anything, even if it is a “natural” product.
If you do have an allergic reaction, ask yourself the following questions and keep track of your answers so you can narrow down the culprit(s):
- Does the product contain fragrance? If so, have you used products with the same fragrance? Did you have an allergic reaction to the other product?
- Have you have an allergic reaction before to a similar type of product? A similar color? That brand of cosmetics?
