Pay attention – the most common allergens are fragrance and purple pigments. However, anyone can be allergic to anything, even if it is a “natural” product.

If you do have an allergic reaction, ask yourself the following questions and keep track of your answers so you can narrow down the culprit(s):

  1. Does the product contain fragrance? If so, have you used products with the same fragrance? Did you have an allergic reaction to the other product?
  2. Have you have an allergic reaction before to a similar type of product? A similar color? That brand of cosmetics?
