You have voiced a very common concern about rhinoplasty and cosmetic surgery in general. NATURAL looking results. Of course that should be the ultimate goal, that you look great, naturally. Nasal surgery is an area that requires experience and aesthestics in combination. I have found less is more, and try to give my patients what they desire with as little damage as possible to the natural structure of the nose. This creates less swelling and the healing process is faster, thus giving you the final result in a shorter period of time post-operatively. Ultimately the final result of nasal surgery is an on going process which takes from 6 months to 1 year. You will find if you pick the right surgeon, that most people in your world will almost immediately comment on "how good you look" and not even realize you had nasal surgery. Hope this helps! Dr. C
