Many good prescription-based medications exist for a variety of skin conditions affecting the feet, such as dry skin, rough skin, thickening skin, corns, and calluses.

Typically, the prescription-based products are much more powerful than over-the-counter products. The prescription-based medications contain a sufficient percentage of “urea,” which works to loosen the top layer of skin and causes the skin to shed at regular intervals, thereby softening the dry and thickened areas.

Having soft, healthy and pretty-looking feet is fairly simple to achieve with the right treatments. A dermatologist is a specialist who has familiarity with prescribing these treatments. So, consulting a dermatologist would be a good start to achieve pretty looking feet!

Practicing good hygiene is important. If you can, pampering yourself with a whirlpool treatment and pedicure are great ways to keep your feet feeling and looking great. Foot massages and reflexology are also terrific.
