How can I cope with the physical and emotional changes I feel from getting older?

Attitude is the key to dealing with getting older.
Even though the author PD James says, "Old age is not for wimps", you need to keep a positive attitude. We all have something to complain about but all it does is make us feel old. Focus on keeping your mind and body active, spend time with friends, family but don’t forget to take time for yourself.
As we age, our bodies, skin tone and hair colour change. Some of my clients feel discouraged because they are going grey or because they will never be able to fit into the same clothing they did 20 years earlier, no matter how much weight they lose.
Don’t fight it. Instead, learn how to enhance the new you. There are great clothing styles out there that will enhance your body the way it is now. Add a new hairstyle & colour and easy to learn make-up techniques and you will instantly look younger.
There is a beauty in every age we pass through. I know it’s easier to say it than feel it.
Age means life experience and you gain it mostly the hard way and some from others’ experiences. Emotionally you should feel good! You are wiser than last year and each decade the colours of the world that you can see and understand change. Plus, you are not just simply a body; how about your soul, and your spirit? Live the life the way you feel it. Well, be careful for the interpretation: don’t dress like a teenager when you are at late 50s but feel like 20s!
