Question

How can I avoid mascara clumps?

Is there a really great mascara out there somewhere that doesn't clump, a magic tool I can use, or do I need to change the way I apply it?

Avoiding Mascara Clumps

After curling your lashes, apply a thin coat of mascara with an upward and outward zig zag approach - let dry, add a little eyeshadow or face powder, curl again and apply a second coat of mascara. Then use a mascara comb or a clean brush and comb through your lashes from base to tip removing any clumps. Continue until all are removed.

To avoid this, try KissMe Mascara (high end price) or Revlon Great Lash (low end price). KissMe builds better and is one of the best mascaras on the market as it dries thoroughly and curls a second time beautifully keeping your lashes up all day. It also builds by just adding more mascara to the tips. There are lots of other brand names, but its the application that's as important as the product.

For gals with thin, fine or light textured lashes, I'd like to underscore once again that false lashes (correctly trimmed and natural looking) are the fastest, most effective, and the least wearing choice for this situation.
