I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty performed 5 weeks ago today. While out during new years eve I got too close to a glass window and hit my nose pretty hard on the glass wall and felt my nose bend one way. It hurt pretty bad for about a minute and then the pain went away. It did not bleed at all and for the most part my nose looks the same although I think I MAY see some additional swelling but this may be being very paranoid. Do you think i could have altered my result at all.

It is difficult to assess your nose base on limited views. A slightly sloped nose with a supratip break is commonly desired in females. Seeing a plastic surgeon is probably the best way to see if surgery is recommended.
You are correct. Rhinoplasty with sculpting the lower lateral cartilages, elevation of the tip with a septal graft, elevation of the caudal septum, and a alarplasty can create a triangular appearance to the alar rims. It may be more noticeable in noses that are originally wide in the alar base...
It is hard to believe than facial expressions will effect the cosmetics of your nose. Nasal trauma from boxing, contact sports, or a motor vehicle accident would be more likely to cause permanent changes in your nose.Consult a Board Certified Plastic SurgeonBest wishes
