My scar is much higher than the plastic surgeon and I had discussed. He offered revision. It would be like a Tummy Tuck without muscle repair and easier recovery. How is a scar revision done? What should I expect? I was also told that my scar was made so high because if he went lower, there would have been a chance of necrosis. I don't understand what this means. Can anyone explain this?

Not as easy as it sounds

If all your extra skin was already removed as it should have been, it is not possible to move your scar any lower, at least not for several years.  Are you positive your doctor was a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon??  I wonder based on what you are saying...

Tummy Tuck scar may not be moved much

We would have to see before and after picures to see what can be done. Odds are the scar cannot be moved very much. But let's see!
