High Prescription Myopia -14D?

Hi I am 37 years old, my prescription is changing every year. Last year it did not change this year it changed. I am afraid I will go blind. Are there any eye supplements (or) what I can do to prevent further increase in prescription. Please suggest. Thankyou

Increasing myopia

Most patient's eyeglass prescription stabilizes in their mid 20's. You should ask your doctor if he can find a reason why you continue to change. Supplements are not felt to be effective. Progressive myopia can be an indicator of more serious problems and your eye doctor can check for some of these and offer suggestions.
