I had laser treatment for broken capillaries on my checks two weeks ago. My face is still slightly red in the treated areas? Will this go away and how long will it take?
Answer: Laser Resurfacing Thank you for your question.Slight redness is to be expected post laser treatment. It is important to avoid sun exposure before and after treatments as well. I recommend following up with the provider who performed your service to discuss any concerns you may have along with additional post-care instructions. To be sure, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Answer: Redness from laser resurfacing The redness from laser resurfacing can last for quite some time. Hopefully, your doctor informed you of this possibility. Usually, I find that it fades over two months, depending on the depth achieved, but it can last 6-12 months and persist with facial flushing. I hope it improves for you soon.
