How Can You Help Skin Damaged from an Ipl Laser?

dec 1st i had an IPL photo facial the derm i was seeing told me i should get 4 treatments in total! so i took his advice! the first two treatments i felt happy with it and i actually didnt want to go any further! but he said it would only get better! So i took his advice once again! after all the treatments my skin was very dry pores massive skin tone is darker/red itchy and blotchy he said it will go away after a week! after all that i paid him 800$ its now may 27 and my skin is the exact same?
