I Did TCA25% and Now Healing is Finished It is Too Dry! It Looks Like Psoriasis. How to Heal?

Hi I have been doing TCA 25% for 1 1/2 years with good results. This time once the peeling finished my skin was so dry even though I kept it moisturized. Now it is irritated, patchy dry almost like psoriasis with distinct bumps all over my face. Will it ever heal? Any suggestion how to let my natural oils through again? I don't know what to put on it because even eczema moisturizer irritates it. Should I avoid washing my face for a few weeks? Please help! Are the bumps permanent?

Hi:) I share your story. The same thing has happened to me. The first year or so of home peel 25%TCA peels were brilliant and I loved the results however during the winter my skin was really dry(I wasn't using great skin products at the time either)and I did a peel which left my skin looking somewhat scarred as it is very bumpy and very prone to all kinds of breakouts. That was about 4 months ago. I too used many types of eczema creams and psoriasis cream and even just washed with water for about a month but none of it did really any good for the dryness which I suspect is the cause for the appearance of scarring. Probably the best out of all the creams and medicated lotions was actually just straight jojoba oil. I also washed with it but it didn't help the undiagnosed 'psoriasis' or 'rosacea' that I think I had. Only in the last two weeks do I feel my skin is beginning to repair and I put it down to a skincare regime of excellent ingredients and RF treatments daily. The best thing is some oil capsules that I am using for dermal repair they are really great. A lot of skincare lines have these types of capsules, they are very nourishing and really do give you back some moisture. They are usually applied at night but I have had to use them morning and night because of the damage and dryness is horrible. If you have any concerns or want to know of the products I used for my situation I will happily pass the info to you to try. I spent 6 months buying so much crap I really wish someone had been able to point me in the right direction. Even my GP was sold me the same 'creams' that really don't work and actually seem to irritate like you say. You really just want to put pure moisture back in your skin not thick creams although gentle milk cleansers have been soothing on my skin opposed to the gel types which are irritating as well. Good luck and I'm happy to help:)
