Had heart valve replacement, and am on coumadin, are fillers an option?
Can I Get Injectable Fillers After Heart Valve Replacement?
Doctor Answers (1)
You may proceed with Injectable Fillers after your heart valve surgery.
To be completely certain, you should ask your cardiovascular surgeon his thoughts on your candidacy for Injectable Fillers. I do not ask my patients on blood thinners like aspirin, Plavix, or Coumadin to stop these before an Injectable Filler treatment. You will probably be at higher risk for bruising, so consider starting with a limited treatment to see hw you will respond. I hope this is helpful for you.
