Lyra laser is effective for hair removal

The Lyra is a type of laser called a "long-pulsed Nd:YAG." This type of laser is considered safer for those with skin of color. But it can be more painful than other types of lasers. My favorite laser for hair removal is the Lumenis Light Sheer Duet. It is a diode laser which is considered by most to be the gold standard for hair removal. The Light Sheer has a larger treatment area and can do a whole leg or back in just 15 minutes with minimal discomfort and no gel is needed.... more
