Hi, I recently had an alar base reduction and the outer part of my nostrils are hard. It's been over 3 weeks now since i had the procedure. I'm wondering the reason for the hardening of my nostrils and I also wonder if the subcutaneous fat will become softer as time goes by?
Causes of Hard Nostrils 3 Weeks After Alar Reduction?

Hardness after nostril reduction
It takes more than 3 weeks for the swelling to resolve. If the hardness is on both sides, and there is no redness or pain, it sounds like residual swelling. Again, at this point it sounds like its normal, but I would follow up with your surgeon.
