I'm wondering if this lump is just breast tissue that will relax after awhile. It is the size of a golf ball and i just noticed 2day the other breast is fine. You cant see it can only feel it.

SEE VIDEO BELOW: Hard lump over upper portions of the breast following lift

I would need to know the exact technique and if this is present on both sides. Occasionally this occurs with certain techniques where the tissue has been rearranged and transferred to the upper portion of the breast. see video

Lump after breast lift

Without an exam is it hard to say, but a firm area may be some tightening of the tissue with sutures or it could be fat necrosis, or even a hematoma to name a few things. Follow closely with your surgeon.

Scarring or lump after breast lift surgery?

If you are seven weeks out from breast lift surgery, then you are still healing. Remember, that most internal sutures take about 3 months to completely absorb. You may be feeling scar tissue as well, and scar tissue takes about one full year to fully soften and mature. However, if you think that you have a distinctive mass, then you should go back to your surgeon for an in-person evaluation and examination to make sure that it is not anything more serious.

Lump After Breast Lift

I would first revisit with your surgeon to see if he/she has an answer for this based on your anatomy, the technique used and your healing thus far.  This may represent fat necrosis (scarred fat) which may soften over time or require removal. Dr. ES
