Hard Lump After Tummy Tuck?

I had a tummy tuck 7 weeks ago. Having said that, a few days after my TT I noticed a hard lump/ball below my incision and slightly to the right. When I sit up, I can actually see a slight indent where this "lump" is located. Also, it doesn't cause me pain nor does it move/rotate when touched. My PS didn't seem concerned at all web I asked him about this. It hasn't grown in size but I was nervous it may be an incisional hernia. Any advice or suggestions?

Lump after tummy tuck.

This is most likely secondary to a small hematoma. Discuss with your surgeon. It should improve over time.

Lump In Mons Pubis After Tummy Tuck

This definitely is where you need better communication between you and your plastic surgeon. Please ask him or her exactly what they believe this lump may be. Having said that, this is very unlikely or almost impossible to be an incision hernia since there are no incisions below your abdominoplasty incision during a tummy tuck. My best guess is that this is probably some blood mixed with fat in the area of your mons pubis, or when placing the deep sutures to sew... more
