Strands of Tissue Running from Gumline to Top of my Teeth

I had gum disease corrected with deep root cleaning, but I have threadlike strands running from my gum line to the top of my teeth. Even the upper teeth which was not diseased has fine threads running thru the teeth. My orthodonists can not see them and makes excuses. This condition started after a eyelid surgery that didn't go well and caused a pulling sensation on my upper molder. What is this and how can I get rid of the strands of tissue?
