Grid STILL on Face...should I Be Scared? I Am:(

I am just shy of three weeks post profractional laser treatment. I am panicking and scared. The "grid" from the laser is still on my face. From what I've read, it should only take 1-2 weeks to disappear. It has made the texture of my skin look like I slept on gauze. It is more predominant when I have makeup on. I feel like I've had a pretty typical recovery, but I'm absolutely terrified that this grid is never going to fade. Please help! Thanks so much! BKH
