Gortex implants not preferred.

Gortex implants into the nose are more of an antiquated technique that was popular approximately 20 years ago. We no longer use Gortex due to multiple complications that occur from them. Gortex implants in the face can become infected, dislodged, shift, and rejected by the body, so it is best not to use them.
