I am not happy with my cosmetic doctor. I had one appointment done for under eye filler-but I dont see the results and she says that I am too critical of myself and not listening to me-she is always rushed in our appointments and does not take the time with me-Can I switch to another doctor with better reviews and sounds more patient and listens?
Answer: Under Eye Fillers and Poor Results you can always switch providers anytime you would like. if you are unhappy or do not trust your physician please see a different doctor. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Changing doctors Thank you for your question. Yes you can and probably should given your feelings toward her. It is in your and her best interest. This is very commonly done and will allow you to get a second opinion. You will likely either find out that someone else was better able to provide the results you were hoping for or your first doctor was correct in their explanation of limitations. Either way, you will probably feel better afterwards. All the best!

Answer: Can you switch to a new cosmetic doctor in between treatment? Absolutely! If you're not happy with the results that your physician provides, the best thing for you (and your doc) is to find another physician injector that you are comfortable with.

Answer: Switching Docs During Cosmetic Procedures Best patient outcomes always flow from a great doctor patient relationship. Factors influencing the patient doctor relationship are open communication, common backgrounds, active listening skills, setting proper expectations as to outcomes, etc. Remember, its your body, and for cosmetic services, you are spending your DISCRETIONARY income. You should exercise your discretion to spend it, whenever and wherever you like. Usually it is physicians and their staff who need to be reminded that patients have a choice in who is caring for them. It is interesting that you feel the need to ask this question....Maybe the staff at your docs office, or the doc was having a bad day? Are you basing your opinion on a single visit, or is this a pattern?I think you would be best served by doing some additional research about others in the community who can perhaps perform the same service.
