Expected weight loss after gastric bypass
Weight loss after gastric bypass varies depending on several factors. Roughly patients can expect to loose 60 percent of their excess weight by six months post surgery, that is excess weight. Ultimately patients will loose more weight depending on their exercise. Throughout the first year, it is important to follow up with your surgeon to monitor your weight loss.
The most important thing that usually drives good weight loss is a good nutritional regimen. If you are concerned about poor weight loss after your surgery, it is important to consult with your surgeon.
