A mini gastric bypass should never be performed and is not endorsed by the bariatric societies.  This procedures can lead to many problems like bile reflux.  The gastric bypass is the preferred procedure and gold standard.  This procedures connects the bile lower down so it avoids the problem of reflux.  Do not go to any surgeon endorsing the mini gastric bypass.
