My ps said he could put just his thumb between the wall of muscle so he seen no need to tighten them. is this normal?

Muscle tightening with tummy tuck

Obviously I have not seen your pictures and have not examined you. but in general almost all women who have had childbirth at lease have some extent of abdominal wall laxity, and would benefit from muscle tightening. You can see the difference in some of the before and after pictures.

Full Tummy Tuck w/o Muscle Tightening - Normal?

Most tummy tuck patients are either mothers, have undergone massive weight loss, or both. If you are a mother, you will have at least some "spread" between the muscles. I routinely repair the muscles to their anatomic position, regardless of how much or little spread I find.
