What is a Full Thickness Injury/scar As It Relates to a 35% TCA Peel on Your Hands?
I think this is what happened to my sister with an at home peel. How to address the resulting scarring?

Scarring from home TCA peels is a big problem.
Your sister needs to see a dermatologist for treatment of her scars from the home TCA peels. There are many things your doc can do to improve the scarring and it needs to be done immediately. Cortisone shots, 5 FU shots, topical creams etc.... will clear up most scars. Sincerely,

Dealing with scars from at-home TCA peels
Your sister needs a consultation with a dermatologist. He or she will be able to evaluate the scarring and offer a treatment plan to best help her. Scarring is forever; all we can do is make as much improvement as possible. Pulsed dye laser, ablative resurfacing, topical therapies such as Biocorneum can all be called on to help.
