Lipoma removal and prevention
The development of lipomas is not predictable and thus there are no real ways to prevent their growth. Early intervention is usually the key to effective treatment. Surgery90210

Is there a way to prevent lipomas?
I am not aware of any regimen to prevent lipomas. Unfortunately, these sometimes occur and if they are bothersome need to be removed. However, removal is typically very safe and a quick procedure under local anesthetic in the office.

How to prevent lipomas from occurring
There is no known cause for most lipomas. Some are hereditary, and in a few cases some seem to be related to prior trauma. Most are sporadic and there is nothing you can do to prevent them from occurring.

How do you get lipomas
